So we had the COOLEST ever experience today and yesterday. There's a 2nd division soccer team here in Spain called Real Oviedo. (Re-awl O-vee-eh-dough) They're super good, and will soon be playing to see if they can be bumped up to being a 1st division team. They have a huge fan base from all around the world, and they're all super cool guys. Our Director is distantly related to one of the players, so we got the hook up! BYU actually bought everyone on the program jerseys!! They're so cool! I totally love mine. We also got a tour of the stadium. We saw the locker rooms, the press conference room, the Real Oviedo museum, and the field. It was super cool.
To top it all off - today we got to go see them practice!! We went to their practice field and got to watch a practice session, and then afterwards we actually got to MEET and TAKE PICTURES with the players!! It was so dang cool!! They even made us a jersey that says Brigham Young University as the name and 1875 as the number! So cool! There's a story about us published too!
